Udi Stoler
Udi is a conscientious perfectionist. He expresses his feelings and things that happened in his life with his artwork, and then he perfects them. He has an uncanny talent in interior design using wood, steel and stone, creating a cozy, open and earthy feeling. Udi was born in the 1960’s, in Haifa. His father is an architect and his mother was a teacher. Udi takes an independent, pure and simple perspective to life. Udi lives in an old castle which he renovated and redesigned.
In 1988, Udi started to establish himself as an interior designer. His unique style changes the contemporary look of interior design in Israel.
In the mid 90’s, he was already known as one of the most prominent home and furniture designer. During these years, he also designed some of the finest homes in the country. His photography is aloof and realistic at the same time, giving you a deep and thoughtful feeling.
The black and white drawings are skillfully done. With short strokes he captures moments that convey a variety of powerful moods, humor and emotions.The oil and acrylics paintings are colorful processions of symbols that reveal the meaning and experience of his life and work.
